Default Buying pads and rotors

I'm going to buy some aftermarket pads and rotors for my '09 LS460. Based on this forum it's clear that Akebonos are the way to go. However, I wasn't able to find as much information on good aftermarket rotors (my OEM rotors have already been turned a few times so they need to be replaced).

I have a few questions for anyone willing to share their insight. Thanks in advance.

1) I see Akebono has ProAct ceramic pads as well as Performance pads. Based on the descriptions it seems like the ProAct product is a better fit. Is there any advantage to having their Performance pads?

2) I went to placeforbrakes.com and found the Akebono ProAct pads for basically $60 for fronts and $50 for rears. Are there any other vendors I should consider?

3) Can someone recommend good aftermarket rotors? I just use my car as a daily commuter to work. I do not need any special performance.

4) Are the Lexus OEM rotors worth the money over aftermarket options?

Thanks again in advance for any insight. Much appreciated.

I have akebono pads and stop tech slotted rotors and they works great. However there's one down side I sometime get a little squeal in the morning when backing out the driveway.

I'm using StopTech Cryo drilled rotors in the front and the stock rotors in the back. Hard stops come with a vortex-like whistle/hum and progressively faster braking. This car may never stop on a dime, but a nickel is well within reason

*rotors were from Marshall at TireRack.com
