Default Spare wheel doesn't match?

I just had my car serviced and I happen to look in trunk today and the wheel that's in there doesn't match my other Tellios wheels. It's been a while since I've looked in there but I could have sworn it was a match. Am I crazy? Did they swap out my wheel? The whee that's in there is the base gray wheel that cake standard on these cars.

Did you buy the car used? If so my guess is the original owner bought 4 new wheels, but didn't see any need to buy a new spare wheel.

I did. But I could have sworn that the spare matched this car. But I haven't looked in there in over a year before today.

Our memories are notorious for playing tricks like this on us (at least mine is). I'm sure nobody changed your wheel.

It's likely that the spare wheel is always the standard wheel. It is on other cars I've owned.

The previous owner probably bought 4 new wheels and left the spare alone. It happened with my LS. The spare (base grey wheel) and trunk tools have never been used. Very common on all vehicles.

Just chiming in here...
The previous gentleman purchased 4 aftermarket wheels but left the spare as the OEM wheel. My tools seem to have never been touched either.
Very, very nice compartment and tool orientation btw!

Mine had a regular silver wheel as a spare.

Telios is an upgrade wheel, so unless the original owner bought a 5th, which 99.9% probably never do, you'll have the stock 18".

I don't know why someone would "upgrade" to the Telios. Them joints are ugly.

I disagree, I think they look way better than the 18" stock. If the 19s came in that finish I would love to have those as OEMs

The telious wheels are not my favorite, however I like them better than the base wheel. I'd love to have a set of oem 19" 5 spoke wheels. I guess my mind did play a trick on me. But I coulda swore it matched.

You and I think alike on those 5 spokes. To rest your fears though on the spare, I found yesterday I have the same deal. It's the stock wheel in the truck and the telios all around. The reason for my search was, it seems my lug nut key has up and gone awol. I'm now in the process of searching out a new one. Do I have to get it from the dealership?

I'd check eBay first. But it may be easier to get one from the dealership. There's also a rim shop called extreme that can make those keys.

Thanks! I called Lexus this morning. Parts Dept closed for weekend. Will check out extreme and call a few others.

If you look in your clove box. There is a clear plastic bag or envelope that has info on ordering another lug nut key.
