So you didn't have to pay anything to replace the entire HVAC panel? I've got same issue, with fan lights + Auto light burned out.

Did you call them and have to order the panel before taking car to dealer?

I also purchased the extended warranty when I bought my 2017 LS460L, so hopefully this will be covered!

In short - maker of original leds in our headunits is now defunct (fujitsu subsidiary in europe). Completely. I know which ones are used by repairers/re-led-ers. Those are cheap and available but you DO have to change all to have a decent look...

My used board taken from the ML head unit I bought on ebay last November for $150 now has burned out LEDs on both the AM.SAT and FM buttons. It just happened last night, so my replacement lasted les than a year with all the lights still on. I think I am going to send my original board to Tanin Auto for LED replacement. What do you guys think about potentially just changing the LED color on the rings around the power and tune ***** to blue as an accent?

What I did is scavenge those side pcbs (two leds each) from a junker, and desolder original leds using hot tweezers.

Just to clarify - personally I used scavenged leds from junker headunit. My junker had 2, one with pierced screen and other with water damage. I asked if I can just unscrew side pcbs for cheap - 'go ahead, at least some money for me' said the junker and we had a deal.
If you want closes ones available new from current part sources - pm me. But I warn you - those are a bit dimmer and somewhat warmer than original. Although they look completely same (little notch included).
