2015 LS460 AWD SWB Purchase Price
Brought in my 2015 ES350 for my new plates and we love the ride of the ES so much we decided to take a LS460 SWB for a drive and my wife really enjoyed it coming from her 2010 Mercedes E350. This car would be mainly for her as I use the ES350 day to day which is a company lease and this would be her daily car. Anyway to make a long story short we got talking numbers as I would really like to trade the E350 as it starting to get older and Mercedes maintenance is very expensive. I didn't want to bring up the trade, I will throw that in at the end so I know what they are actually giving me for it. The 2015 LS SWB AWD MSRP $79,504 he offered to sell it on Saturday for $73,600 which didn't sound to aggressive, but then I get an email this morning that if I take the car this week for the month he will do it $71,900 plus fees cash deal. He has the car in the color combo we want in stock , just had come in recently . I am now trying to get the value of the E350 to see what he comes back with. I have a feeling I might get killed with the trade. I like to get 30K for it, but glaves is showing 24.5 for it.
Forgetting about the trade I just wanted to see if this seems like an aggressive deal ($7,604) off MSRP $79,504 cash deal $71,900 plus fees. 2015 LS460 SWB, AWD comfort PKG, Blind spot and a few other items.
He did have 2014 which he said he could do over 10K off but being that we are purchasing it I don't want 2014 for resale value in case we trade it in a few years and it was a LWB 460 that was in showroom so people had been sitting in it.
Appreciate owners feedback, I know 2015 buyers may be limited but just wanted to see before I throw the trade back at him that this was a fair price. I also would like to do it this week to close his month but not take it towards to end of the month for Xmas surprise for her.

I can't speak about the 2015, but here, the Lexus dealer won't budge on price. Most of my friends drive hours or even fly to pick up their new cars at other Lexus dealers. Sounds like a nice deal to me!

I am from Manhattan, NY but deal is with a NJ dealer and it seemed like he really wants to move cars for the month, week prior I got a 15 ES for below invoice. I really think they are more focused on volume then high profits. I have been doing business with him since 2002 and do a lot of fleet company cars for my company through him so that may help also. The only thing based on his feedback that they wouldn't really make deals on was the RC models.
It sounds fair to me, so I think I am going to email my old Mercedes contact and ask how much they would give me for the car and then take that off what he offering.

I will be officially joining this forum!
Its done I got $25,900 for the E350, I think its fair considering the tax discount I will be saving on the new LS and not having the issue to sell it privately.
We agreed on out the door price for an even $50K with the trade and will be able to put off the delivery till mid December.
Based on the deal it breaks down to:
MSRP $79,504
Sell $71,900
Trade $25,900
Difference $46,000
Tax $3,979
Transfer Plate /Reg $150
Doc Fee $125
Total $50,254
Agreed to do it out the door $50,000,
I am happy with the trade don't think I would have gotten much more, I am sure they came up to it by discounting the car more.
Very excited I plan to get it 20th hide it at the shore place and tell my wife I am getting the E350 bumper fixed to sell it as it has some parking damage. This will give me a few days close to Xmas:

I don't know about Gen 8 have it now in my 15 ES and is very slow compared to older version so hoping it better in LS which I doubt , getting car Friday then going drive to 2 hours to Hamptons in NY to summer place to hide it until X Mass when we go out there for Holidays on 23rd...Bottom line she had E class in NYC and cayenne at shore so now she will have LS or Cayenne so don't think she can complain. Doing whole red ribbon for LS so will post pics .. Porsche is nice but have had it 3 years and had tons issues and cost over 80k, I mean like issues that's involved a tow truck!!!! It's nice looking but for cost it killed me to see issues!!
