Buzz/Rattle from exhaust tip area

Buzz/Rattle from exhaust tip area
Anyone experience this ever?
I get a buzz or rattle from the muffler area, which appears to be coming from the heat shields. This happens at certain rpm's. I've bent the shields which sometimes remedies the issue, but has come back each time. I'm considering removing the mufflers and then removing the shields or replacing them. Anyone see any issue with removing them?
Any ideas?
