Don't forget, majority of owners get the extended warranty so suggesting you go to the dealer was probably not made out of any malicious intent.

So what was the solution?

Was told by my mechanic that he could not communicate with the door module for this specific door.

I have not been able to locate where the fuse is for my driver's side, side mirror... any suggestions?

Door jam switches are in perfect working order.

No solution just yet... the recommendations I explored did not address the option. I am still; however, trying to locate where the fuse might be for the door module (or whatever function controls the automatic door closing) and/or the driver's side outside mirror.

Is the trunk light working? Its the same circuit... the fuse panel is behind the panel on the left side of the trunk next too the gas filler release..its a small amp micro fuse..

Located the fuses... haven't checked them yet... but just check on trunk light and it is working.

My mechanic said you can hear the gears engage on the mirror, but it will not automatically fold shut or open. Side note... I can still adjust my mirror (not folding the mirror housing, but moving the actual mirror itself) with the up, down, left, right controls inside.
