LS460 all the way. These 2 cars should not even be compared. It is not fair to either. The room in the LS460 makes the GS look like a sardine can. I have the 460L and like one of the members said, the LS460 is rare on the road but you see GS cars all over the place.

I see more LS's (not the sport model) in the Washington D.C. area than I do GS's. I own a 2010 LS 460 Sport and have driven a 2013 GS 450h extensively and it's really an apples to oranges comparison. The GS 450h is a unique animal. It just drives differently than a purely gas-powered car. Virtually no engine noise at cruising speed, and instantaneous acceleration right from the start. Like flipping a switch. To me, it's like a turbo charged engine with absolutely no wind up or lag. Just oomph right off the line. Put it into Sports + and it corners flat, and handles as tight as any car I've ever driven. It's a blast.
The LS , on the other hand is definitely a higher quality vehicle. The fit and finish is amazing, the seats are incredibly comfortable (to my rear anyway), it's incredibly quiet and the engine is smooth as butter. It would be hard to find a more serene and comfortable car. That said, and speaking only for the 2010 Sport (maybe the 2013's are better), the LS is zero fun to drive. It floats and rolls even in sports mode. Tight lane changes at high speed are a bit of an adventure.
So there's really no comparison. If you want something well appointed, unique and fun to drive, get the GS 450h. If you want more space, the highest quality fit and finish and value comfort over driving dynamics, get the LS.
One other point. The ML system in the LS is far superior to the premium system in the GS. I'm very fussy about sound, and the ML in the LS is excellent.. (I haven't tried the ML in the GS. I hear it's better than the premium, but not that much better.) And, oh yeah, the speaker phone in the GS is awful (and excellent in the LS). I'd probably use a blue tooth earpiece or other like device while talking on the phone in the GS.

I also compared the GS and the LS, I did not consider the h model because I like the F Sport trim and most of all seats.
In the north east all GS cars are AWD and there is a big hump on the drivers side. That was the deal breaker for me. (less leg room)
The LS is more comfortable. I think the GS is more of a drivers car.
The F Sport seats are great
