Trunk deoesn't open all the way - Normal??
So I had opportunity to drive a Buick Lacrosse. When I popped the trunk, it sprung open all the way which my Lexus does not do. While the rest of that Lacrosse was garbage, I really liked that the trunk did that. Especially when your hands are full.
Am I whining enough yet? :p So this is normal right? |
Trunk opens all the way in mine

Mine opens fully. The only complaint I have is some cars open and close more quickly than the LS. One trick I did learn here is that if you push the close button twice, it will close more quickly.

Uh oh.....let me clarify.....this IS NOT the automatic trunk. Just the standard trunk release. My BMW had the auto close but not this one. However, I would at least like it to fully open when I unlock it like the Buick did. I just wondered if the struts are weak.

ML, self park, That's about it. Why?

Strange, I thought all LS's came with the auto trunk open by remote and close after hitting button under trunk lid
|
Nope......but I wish!

Anyone...anyone....anyone??????

My GS trunk just opens about an inch or two.

Mine pops up all the way, Think all 6 I checked out before purchasing this one did as well. i wonder what packages it came with standard.

Can you open your trunk and take a pic underneath the trunk lid. Maybe it's wired for a push button.
