Well, I took out both seats, and pulled that metal cover off this morning, and still there. I have isolated it down to the strut though. Inside the metal cover is some sound suppression and a rubber ring. When I took it off, it got louder. So I at least know its around there. I am going to complain about it next time I bring it in.

 

I'm curious as to what the dealer will quote for the cost of the repair.

 

With the seat out and the rear valance out, have someone drive while you try and locate the noise. Be careful though LOL. Try to avoid having suspension replaced for no reason like I did. Luckily I was still under warranty.
