Hello all. I recently purchased a LS460 thats the dealer recently replaced the battery on. They guarantied it to pass inspection however when I went to have it inspected here it didnt pass as it said that system readiness not complete. They asked me if the battery had been replaced, I told it had and they said it just needed to be driven more. I know there is a ten step process to do this faster but Iv also read just drive it. It did go 80 miles already getting up to my home where I had it delivered, they drove it. I thought it was about 100 miles to complete a drive cycle can some one confirm?

Not 100% on this but, wouldn't running a health check on techstream accomplish this?

We don't have annual inspections where I live.

No, health check is something else.
Good question. Afaik monitors for different compliance (evap, o2, cats etc) run independently and intelligently.
I've seen Monitors go from INCOMPLETE to COMPLETE with 5 minute test drive, but don't quote me on that.

Thanks guys. They have a machine like tech stream but they said I just need to drive it. What scares me is they drove it here 80 miles after replacing the battery. But Iv heard 100 miles even 300 miles. "Afaik monitors" dont know what that is. It doesnt seem like something you can program as its throwing no codes.

Ok its just passed, and it was about 20 miles they drove it, so 100 miles! Oh I hope this LS460 doesnt give me any problems.
