While driving recently I experienced what felt like continued acceleration when I applied the brake. It was only a fleeting moment, but was scary nonetheless.

 

Is your car equipped with Dynamic Radar Cruise Control?

 

My car has a bit of play in the brake pedal. I can actually get braking action without the cruise disengaging or brake lights. The car has downshifted and tried to accelerate. I need to get under the dash to see if the switch clearance can be adjusted. Of course the dealer said nothing can de done. Pretty scary the first time it happened. Is this possibly what you felt?
