My only complaint with the hold feature was when I had just bought my car and was in a drive thru. I had been in "hold" for more than a minute and unbeknownst to me, the system then bypasses the hold and automatically applies the E brake. When I went to drive away, I couldn't get the car to move. People behind me were honking and carrying on...and in desperation, I gave it tons of gas to drag the back end to the nearest stall to figure out what the ^%$# was going on. My brake warning indicator came on saying that my brakes were overheated and to pull over immediately, etc. LOL. I was familiar with the hold feature, as I had it in my previous BMW 7, but this one is a little different. Great feature though.
