Default Happy to return to Lexus brand

Hi guys, I bought a 2010 LS 460 today and am looking forward to getting to know the LS and learning a lot about the car in this forum. Long story short, I had a 2006 GS 430 that I owned for 5 years and put 170k miles on until the cooling system failed and the engine blew on a drive back to SoCal from Vegas. I do a lot of driving for work and I have a fun car I use on weekends, so when the GS went away I decided to go the economical route and I bought a VW CC R-Line. Nice little car and great on gas, but a poor substitute for the comfort of a Lexus for my daily grind of work driving. In any case, I found a dark gray 460 with ML and the factory 19" wheels I was looking for. I cannot get over how great the LS rides. I am happy to have joined you all.

Welcome to the LS family! I believe posting pictures of your ride is an unwritten rule on one of these posts. :P

Thanks for the warm welcome guys. I'll get some pics up shortly. As to my GS, I was sitting in the passenger seat with my friend taking a shift behind the wheel on a road trip we took with our wives. At around 80 mph there was a loud pop then silence. Had the car taken to the dealer where they decided the radiator cap had failed causing the car to overheat and then causing the engine to fail. My friend said he didn't notice the temperature gauge reading hot but who knows. Expensive trip to Vegas, but it is what is is. Happy to have an LS for my next road trip. Thanks guys.

Definitely hit the tables and also the European pool at Encore. Great entertainment at both places. Would highly recommend both.
