Bought 2010 LS460, traded in 2005 LS430
It was a tough decision, but I had grown tired of the 2005 design and wanted to refresh my car's styling. I purchased the vehicle from a local Toyota dealership with 16,700 miles on it compared to 60K miles on my 2005. As part of the bargaining process, I had them remove the new Hanook tires they had put on and replace them with OEM Michelins, add a second drivers key, update the NAV mapping to the 2013 version available this September, repair paint chips, add new OEM Lexus color coded mats, and install the 3M full clear protection kit. The color is Matador Red with the beige interior, unfortunately without the Mark Levinson radio.
I say it was a tough decision because the 2005 LS430 was a wonderful car that gave me no trouble at all. But the Crystal White paint was beginning to show its age, one of the outside mirror housings was damaged, the drivers seat was ripped from age and use and getting worse, and cosmetic wear and tear was beginning to show. It is an extremely well made car however; I only hope my new 2010 is as bullet-proof.
