Default LS460 owners on 22's !!! What is your cold tire pressure setting ??

Just got a set of Michelins and love them. I have been driving on them at 36 psi cold and 40 warm but was a bit concerned since I have always run my 22s at 41 cold and about 44 - 45 psi warm so I took the car in for a quick air check. The techs at the shop said I should do 40 cold at 44 warm to support the weight of the car. ( T they actually calculated it based on the weight of the car and load rating s on the tire). After I filled up I just feel liek the car is harsher and noisier . Its odd because I never noticed that much of a differnece with my other tires.

Just wanted to see what ranges others are running on their LS460s with aftermarket 22" wheels.

OH!! and yes CJITTY I searched the forum and found some stuff but not anything conclusive

When I got my 22's on with Falkens, American Tire Co set my PSI to 40 cold. Gets to 44 warm. All tires seem to get different PSI though. One of my tires keep dropping to 38 cold. I've had all tires drop down to 38 cold, filled up them all to 42 cold. The only thing I thought changed was my MPG. Seemed like I got better mileage when my PSI was higher.

I keep mine on 39-40 cold warm up to 44-45 PSI on the highway. Just had my tire pressure adjusted today and a tech told me I should've left it at 35 cold however to avoid bends on the rim. Ended up leaving them at 39 with 43 warm

Thanks guys. I guess it right where it needs to be. They initially set them at 36 cold and 40 hot and the car felt very smooth and comfy. Now it feels a touch more harsh but better than denting a wheel

39 for me..they get to about 42 or 43 warmed up..I was at 42 and too much for my taste. I have 95 and 103 load ratings now so running high PSI is not really a must as much as before when I had 92/97 load ratings

In AZ the temperature here can easily giver you a 4 psi jump in less than 10 miles, but the last two days the car has only indicated 42/43 psi on the 4 tires. Looks like the setting is pretty common . I will admit the car felt a little better at 40 psi warm but gotta protect those wheels
