From what I have found out about paint, best results are from having a professional do it. Being a DIY is great for General maintaince, but your at home results never turn out that great. I suggest paying a few hundred bucks and having someone else do it. The letters are easy, clean the back of letters and new two sided tape.

In order to have the best result, I would at least pay a detailer to wetsand and compound the area. Letters are easy, but without the proper tools and knowhow, the result wont be very good.

Clean, machine polish, wipe with alcohol and reattach with emblem adhesive OR if you are in doubt take it to a pro and have your car detailed professionally for the winter months...... A detailer will most likely attach the emblems for free with a detail.
TIP! Do not attempt a paint repair (polishing out scratches) unless you have experience, because you will damage the paint.
