Long story short (so I don't bore you).

Always had two seater sports car and a good daily (SC300) etc on the side. Kept the sports car (S2000+MR2) got rid of the SCs and added LS. Was perfect.

Startted modding VIP LS. Someone left a note on my windshield on LS, offering to pay double what it was worth. Couldn't say no to a 22$K cash offer when it was worth 15K on a good day. SOld it

Decided to live with sports car for a while. Upgraded the MR2 to a new Lotus Elise. Kept the S2000. Wanted to try "non old man car" and got a Mazdaspeed3 Hatchback. Hated the cheap feel on the interior. 7 months sold it. Wanted to try electric, had a Nissan Leaf, hated it and sold it. If I was SMART, Would have gone back to a LS.

Went to Lexus dealer. I commute 75 miles a day. Was thinking why not get the CT200. Worst car ever, biggest mistake ever.

Have the Elise/S2000 as sporty, really need to dump the CT. 6 months old, 12K miles. Probably going to take a bath

Stopped going on car forums, was so depressed. Come on here, check out LS forum....fall in love again...

I know only the right side has the foot rest. How does the right side look (when foot rest closed) compared to the left side?

That's so cool, glad I didn't get the CT. I would of bought another 7 series had I not read all the info here on the Forum for the LS, actually I was thinking a newer GS but the back seat was a little tight

As you can see in this picture, the cushions are slightly different at the front. The right side folds back nice and tight, but ultimately you have a bit more padding behind your legs on the right side.

I tell you what, I was so close to another 7 too, was narrowed down to black/black 2011 sickely loaded, TV's in the headrest, etc, bla, bla... then I said what's up with Lexus, had my daughter pick my 460 out actually. Far as BMW, I've had em all, 320i, 735i X2, 745i/750i, roadfrog I take it you had a bad experience with your 7 too, sorry to hear, lol, for non bmw owners just visit bimmerfest.com, some crazeeee and expensive stories compared to Lexus. Now I will say when my beemer was running strong, nothing could beat me on the open road 80-130.

I am a debadge *****. Not sure I would put the hybrid sticker on there. To me thats like the huge hybrid stickers on Chevy Tahoes--seem funny to me.

I love the ALPINA B7, but I am on bimmerfest, and it scares me. Maybe if you wanted to a 36 month lease....

Shrikelex: Yes, I am a former E65 owner and also own an E53. If I NEVER see another BMW again, it will be too soon. LOL. I was an avid poster on Bimmerfest and posted many DIY's. Honestly......I'm sooooo glad to be done with it. Drama, drama drama. Best analogy was.... "like being married to a sex starved super-model......with a 500 dollar a day coke habit".

Honestly, just go to the E65 forum there and look at the first page. EVERY post is either, valve stem seals, oil leaks, transmission failures, Idrive failures, Guibo joint issues, carboned up heads, etc. It's an utter joke.

ALPINA's are sick, but overkill and leasing would be the only way to go, buy it, take off the runflats, put on NRF's, drive for 36k and return it, lol, that's funny I was just thinking about those big Hybrid stickers on the Tahoes, the small one is alright, I like the blue color it has

Yeah see a lot of them here in Los Angeles. Even amongst the daily Rapides and Panamera Turbos and countless Flying Spurs and S65/S63 AMG, the B7s stand out.

Having a car is overkill I can just walk.....
