Default slightly lowering my LS460

i am going to be getting either some 20" snetterton rims by tsw, my car is silver, or i woill get the 20"lexani lss-10 again like i had( but ill paint the faces silver first) , however i want to lower it just enough to loose some of the tire gap only. what is the simplest ay to achieve this. is it the skipper lowering kit like this, what exactlydoes this do and how to i know if my LS has air suspension. sorry for all the dumb questions, i just dont know much about the ls , it is a 2008 by the way.

If you have a height button on your center console then you have air. It'll be right next to the pwr/snow transmission switch. Depending on if you have air or not will determine how to slightly lower your car. If it doesn't then Tanabe springs are the way to go. If you do have air I say get a Datasystems controller.

I think you might avoid some frustration with the air controller since you can go the springs route. I heard people have issues with the controllers and the car does funny things if it sits awhile or adjusts on its own.

Springs if all you want is a slight drop. Coils if you want the adjustabity for dampning and ride height. Air if you want to get real low and adjust height on the fly. Lots of options.

play it safe and go with the coil overs. The difference is only $700 between the coils and the springs
