im going to get one from the DEALER! pay today get it tuesday! :-( i got one from AUTOZONE and the thing HARDLY covers the car! so mad! being that they SWORE it would! and so did the dang box! lol i'll pay $400 for a damn LEXUS cover! made from some sort of parachute material! its like $375 plus tax in all! it comes in grey with "LEXUS" printed in front.... i'll post pics this week

I've had great experience with California car cover. Never bought one for the Lexus as its mostly garaged but my past car was outside and held up great.

I covered my 92 SC400 every day outside during work hours. I never had anything other than a Lexus cover. They fit like a glove, easy to install and remove, and didn't blow off with a slight puff of wind. Prior car to that, which I covered, was a Supra, with various suppliers. None were as good as the Lexus cover.

If I had a need to cover my LS430, it would be with a Lexus cover.

I bought one from The Cover Store (check them out at http://www.the-cover-store.com). They have a very large selection with three levels of fit: Universal, Semi-Custom and Custom. There are also a range of fabrics to choose from. I bought a Semi-Custom for my 2011 LS460 made from their Select-Plus fabric. The cost was about $120. It fits reasonably well and is certainly big enough. This model doesn't include mirror pockets but that is no problem. I used the draw strings and some bungee cords to secure it on the car. My car sits in the driveway (unfortunately it will never see the inside of a garage) and we were off on a trip to Europe for a month. I wanted to protect the car and keep it clean while we were away. It worked just fine and the car stayed in pertect condition. It is designed to breath and so doesn't trap moisture under the cover. It comes with a storage bag that is such a tight fit it is almost unusable once you unpack the cover.

This cover doesn't fit like a glove or have mirror pockets and the material is probably a bit heavier (it is still quite light) than more expensive materials but the bottom line for me is it did the job well and only cost me $120.

I am assuming that your cars are not daily drivers if you cover them. I am **** as hell about the appearance of my car and I have never had to use one. I am curious to see pics

The cover I described above would be a bit of a pain to use on a daily basis and I don't, it's my daily drive.

I covered my car daily at work. The mirror pockets are an absolute must in that case. It aids tremendously in putting the cover on and off. To remove, roll the cover from the front of the car to the mirrors, and then roll the cover from the rear to the mirrors. Then remove one side from the mirror and fold it over towards the other side of the car. Fold remainder and remove from the other mirror. Now you have a nicely folded package that can be thrown in the trunk and is easy to install by the reverse of above.

The mirror pockets on the Lexus cover provides a snug fit and helps hold the cover on the car. It will not blow off easily and does not require a tiedown. Besides, you never want to tie the cover down when it looks like you may have bad weather. Not good on the finish.
