Default 09 AWD pricing advise.

So im looking at a 2009 LS460 with 41k miles. Its truffle mica with black interior, im still not sure if I like the color just yet. But it has the air suspension with ml, its not cpo but I plan to buy the extended warranty. Now what would be a good price for that car? What are your opinions on the truffle mica?

I haven't seen the truffle mica in person but from pics of the Launch Edition LS600hl I love the color (is it similar to a dark grey with a little brown in it?). If I had the choice today, that would be the color I would get based on the pics I have seen. Plus you will not see many around in that color so it will be a little unique. I'm not sure about the pricing but if you are going to get an extended warranty do a search here for pricing (Jerry Johnson from Midwest Toyota is who I used).

A good starting point is to go to Edmunds, Kelley and NADA, plug in all the info on the car and see what their valuations are like. Then you can gauge the deal you should get.

Given the experience some of us have had with the LS AWD I suggest you thoroughly test the car on an uphill road applying light acceleration in the 30 -40 MPH range. I can live with the mild shudder in my 2011 but the shudder in my 2009 could be so bad as to make back seat passengers shake. Buyer beware as Lexus has no solution for this problem.
