Mods: Why Do People Do It?
I dont know about many but if you riding rubber bands and 22's or whatever I for sure hope that aint your daily and if it is not your daily you can do what you want. As far as pricing dropping that has nothing to do with age, if a vehicle is fresh and looks like the ls then people are going to buy it and between the bimmer, benz or ls you a boss if you cop the ls instead of the other two because those depreciate like no other.

I mean this question with a dose of honest respect. Why do so many of you posting here buy bigger wheels and "drop" the car and do other mods? I totally do not get it. Yeah, I understand putting a pinstripe or a front affinity plate (for places where there is no front license plate...such as decorative PITTSBURGH STEELERS plates for the front). But the wheels/tires thing, especially leaves me totally scratching my head.

As for modding, it is said that although Harley Davidson manufactures thousands of identical bikes each year, on the street you will never find two bikes the same. I believe it. My Deuce is a special limited edition 100th anniversary model, only about 2800 were made. I've seen about a dozen of my model over the years and not one of them is still identical to the original, or looks like mine.

Darryl in all honest respect how old are you? Come on pinstripe and front plate? What kind of decorative items are those? Like everyone else said especially Lettuce its all about your personality. I mod everything my cars, my house, my girl

We come on here and post pics of our idea of a perfect LS to give inspiration to other owners while others, who bought the car for gas mileage and low maintenance, come on and complain about the car instead of just taking it to get fixed. I bought the car for its design cues first and reliabilty last. We need more people who mod there LS in clean ways. Im tired of seeing a stock LSs I see those all day. Look up the term "Troll" lol

oh please believe nothing is wrong with riding 22's daily i use to do it but now i have a choice, oh trust me this summer its on!!!. but what i was trying to say is for the show car aspect , just because you have 22's don't mean that u are riding them daily if you have a choice and if you have other cars then its not the same unless some situations allow you to ride your other cars on 22's. i was just trying to point something out.
