Default Rim Sizes

Hey, after talking to a few people and reading a few threads I finally decided that I'm going to treat myself to some 22"s for xmas. I've always had Lexus and still own my LS400 (which had 20's). Now since I finally moved up to the 460, I need to jump on some rims.

Guys the problem that I'm having is, this rim shop told me that I can only get 22x8.5 which isn't much of a selection when your shopping. I read the threads about tire size so I think I'm good with that from what several people posted. I just would like to hear if people have 22x8.5, 9, 9.5, or even 10. Can you tell me if you got your fenders rolled and to your rims rub at all.

Lastly is there a difference between tire width in the 2007 LS compared to the 2011 LS's?

22x9 front and 22x10.5 rear is pretty much the norm on here from what I have seen. Make sure you are dealing with a reputable wheel shop that will provide you best fitment possible for the type of wheel you want. I know Vossen wheels fit well on our cars and the typical front 22" wheel offset on Vossen is 35mm and rear are 38mm

Good luck and take time to review all the wheel threads in this LS 460 forum

I have 22x9.5 and 22x10.5, I have my rear fenders rolled because the offset was a little more aggressive than the norm here, but I have no problems. AFAIK, there is no difference between the tire widths of the 2007-2011 LS's.

I have been asking this on other threads..I'm going to go 265/30 front. I am getting Vossens with 35mm front. Another Vossen owner has 265/30 front and dropped low...should be fine. I am getting continental dws but they don't come in 255/30. 245 does not have recommended load rating for the LS..so 265 it is
