i have had so many wheels, stock or aftermarket, on my cars, from 17s to 22s. i have never done one nitrogen fill. unless i got a nail (or similar events), wheels on my cars never ever leak air in a "noticeable" level that warrants the cost / trouble.

it's just like those "paint protection" or similar things

Yeah , its a rip off. I did it with my last set of wheels and the tire pressure still drops. I called to ask and the guy said the tire pressure will still drop over time, but just slower. When they sell it to you they make it seem like its going to cure childhood cancer. I will pass next time

22's run fine. Slightly rougher ride, but not really that noticeable. Watch out for potholes though. Tires rated for 15K miles, but so does the 18's on Michelins. I'm put off by the looky-loo's..paranoid about carjacking I guess. Does make the car look sleaker and sportier even without lowering

How do some of the owners in the Wheels thread run 22 inch rims that are 11 inches wide?

None of you must have to deal with potholes. I just discovered a bulge on my RR tire that I have to now replace. Stock 19's. Up north, the lower profile you go, the higher your replacement costs are.

I have 22's they ride fine but its a heavy car so make sure you get forged three piece wheels or you will break wheels. they bend when you hit pot holes but on a three piece you can replace the barrel or the lip. always get road hazard because if they do go flat and you drive on them the side wall is wasted fast. My only issue is all chrome now days sucks and its funny that on $5,500 wheels it has a 1 year warranty on the chrome. I am getting ready to redo my wheels and I am sourcing barrels and lips currently. The Tire Pressure sensors have been a pain in the *** also.
I almost forgot you need about $1,500 a year in the budget to replace tires, they don't last long
