You're welcome. From what I recall of the ones I saw in Europe, the hitch will goose neck under the rear bumper, which means that no cutting or modding is required.

Could towing with the LS460 negatively impact either its factory warranty or an extended warranty?

Very likely since Lexus doesn't recommend towing with it's LS460.
