Outside rear view mirror jiggle

Recently I noticed a jiggle in my outside mirror while washing my 2007 LS 460
.
I mentioned it to the service writter @ Lexus to see if it could be tightened;I was susprised to hear there is a TBIS on this issue which will be covered under warranty.
I am currently waiting for the arrival of a "bolt pack" to make the repairB]:)

mine was the same...can't fix it..the whole thing was replaced under warranty.

I have the same problem on the passenger side. My 07 is out of warranty so I need to fix it myself. Do I have to replace the "whole" mirror housing? Can someone post the TSB?

yes..there are no adjustment (so I was told).

The TSB # is L-SB-0033-10.
This TSB is effective for 2007-2009 LS 460's
The dealer now has my bolt kit;they will install it as soon as I can make time for it.
FYI it looks like they must remove the entire mirror to make the repair-- I'm glad it is covered by warranty.

I tried to find the tsb you referenced in your posting.A google search identified a 0033-08 bulletin which addressed problems with the engine pulleys, but not loose mirrors.Have i missed something? tx

If they cant fix the juggle they can replace the entire mirror assembly

Alldata says the TSB # is L-SB-0033-10.
I just had mine fixed under warranty I think it cost Lexus about $100.
The mirror is now solid.

Not sure about the problem with the # but alldata says the TSB # is L-SB-0033-10.
The dealer fixed mine today; it appears to be solid.
They should know of the problem and the fix.
