I have barely 1300 miles on my 2010 LS and the glove box lid no longer opens smoothly when unlocked. The lid now just free-falls with a bang. I'm bringing my car in this Friday to have it checked out. I don't see anything that came detached, so I'm not sure what mechanism allows the pneumatic action. Has anyone else had this problem?

I don't think it applies to '10+ models.

Warranty should take care of it.

 

I just had mine done and they just removed the latch and reinstalled it the right way.
