Headlight condensation.

Headlight condensation.
Last few times I washed the car, the passenger side headlight got condensation for days after that. It's taking some time to clear up too.
Is there and easy fix for this?
Will the dealer replace it under warranty? If they did, I wonder of the lights will look miss matched. Driver side looks like new still but I'd hate to have two different looking eyes.
Light was fine for half a year, I always wash the car myself.
Thanks guys.

While some other Lexus models have a recall for leaking headlights, I'm not aware of one for LS 460. If you still have a warranty, it will be covered. '08?

I tend to doubt that is covered under warranty, but it doesn't hurt to ask.

Every car that I have owned with lexan or acrylic headlights will develop condensation at some point. It is usually most prominent after the car is washed because water is forced into headlights from pressure but not so much if the car has been rained on. The only way to fix this is to remove the headlight and bake them under low heat to melt the old adhesive and then reseal them.
With a little heat or sunlight it will evaporate and it's normal. I have seen on some cars where there are drain holes for water on the bottom of the light. Unless it's really bad don't worry about it unless you have an extended warranty and they are willing to replace them.

A bit of an update.
I had to call Lexus corporate for them to approve this. Looks like they will change my headlight but I'll have to pay $280 for labor to get it replaced.
Headlight got to bad that it never dries up. I hardly even drive the car so it's just parked in the drive way.
I'll get it done next weekend and post pictures after.
I hope the new part doesn't look too different compared to the driver side. My lenses are like new with zero discoloration.
They will also change the trunk button under warranty since it became sticky and deflated.

Baking headlights?? How is that done?
I have got a few scratches on my mine ...a severe one on the rhs..possibly with a metal object :-(
Have checked with my source in Japan and he has good price on the 2008 LS600 headlight glasses and gaskets.

Just a thought, but today they can do wonders repairing scratches and dings in windshields. I know the lens is not glass, but it might not hurt to ask an auto glass shop if there is anything they can do.

Paul,
Thanks for the tip.. I have tried with NOVUS 3 step plastic kit https://www.novuspolish.com/store.html and that took away a bit, but I now see that they also have a Buffing kit designed for any household drill they sell... but it's still irritating me :-(

Internal headlamp condensation is completely normal, according to other car brands (BMW, Audi).
But I'd take that with a big grain of salt, knowing how they make their money (service, not just sales).

Well they changed the headlight and it looks good. Not much different from the other side .
But the dealership forgot to put in a blinker bulb inside the new headlight.
Do you guys know the model of the bulb and how hard is it to get to it? Is the a connector?
