Thinking about LS600hL and this Launch Edition really caught my eye. Does anyone have one who can comment on how they like the car? Would love to hear your opinions. Do you think the price is reasonable? Thanks.

That seems priced about right. Not bad at all. Especially for a car that is originally priced at least 104k.

the car was based at 104k i believe. with some options and especially the rses i believe the price was 115k? can't remember exactly anymore.

but either way, i can tell you when the car came out, the residual for 3 yrs 36k was right around 50%. so say the car is 120k, the residual now (right after 3 yrs and 37k miles) should be around 60k.

with that said, and this is the launch edition so it might worth a bit more, personally i would think 73k is a bit too much. at 65k or a tad more that's probably where my comfort zone is. remember, this isn't even cpo i believe

My LS600hL was NOT a launch edition. The sticker price was:

1. $104,000
2. Premium Luxury Package II - $7570
3. Pre-Collision & Dynamic Radar Cruise - $2850
4. Preferred Accessory Package - $227
5. Delivery, Processing, Handling - $765

The total sticker price was $115,412

My lease is up in August with a residual value of $55,397.

I'm probably going to purchase it.

The closest other option was a MB E550 4-matic, but I use the navigation system a lot, and the MB system doesn't allow street addresses (only a range), and I need them.

The car looks nice & clean.

But it's 3 years old (build month is June 07), and at $73K+ and 37K miles on it I would be looking for a better option.

I wouldn't take it for more than $65K.

I visited Oakbrook Bentley to see the car today. I think 73k is way too much because I found out the car has been rear-ended(I noticed it right away and they admit it). I checked the CARFAX report before I went and nothing about the accident. I'm little disappointed about that.

even for 50k i wouldn't get the car. a car is not the same anymore after an accident

I couldn't agree with you more. That's why I didn't even test drive it.

If its been hit I would stay away unless the dealer wants to sweeten the deal.
