Default Shifting into R and having the door mirrors point down?
Just curious on this one...my fiance's 07 or 08 EsS350 has this option. You put the car in Reverse and the side mirrors point down and then go back up when you put the car back in drive.

Does the LS not have this feature?

My 2008 LS460 does that automatically

Yeah I'm thinking the 2007 doesnt have it. Oh well...not a big deal....I was just curious.

Yes, the auto-reverse tilt mirrors are on all LS 460s, including the 2007. They were also available on the LS 430, at least from 2004. They are on the RX, ES, etc.

However, the mirror toggle switch needs to be properly set or the auto-tilt function will be deactivated, IIRC.

yes, it has to be in either L or R, can't be "middle" / not set

kind of odd that they would design it that way. Hopefully my ocd doesnt kick in....lol. The first day I got the car I popped it into the center.

i have to agree with you. i actually think it makes more sense to have the switch in the middle / not set.

^^^^1, all Lexus have this feature and the setting is the same to activate the tilt

Yeah, I leave mine set to the left. The 2007 LS 460 does have this feature. Like Henry said, even my LS 430 had this as well...
