Thanks. Those I still have. Stock the car up before I traded it in.

Somtimes I think I miss the wheels more than the car

Good luck with the E550. I had a loaded 2010 on order before I went to the LS 460 Sport but MB Financial wouldn't approve our corporate lease without a personal guarantee - which I was not about to give them. I cancelled the order with the car about 90% built.

It is a very nice car - somewhat smaller than the LS but very sporty. Very quick and very technologically advanced.

Very nice wheels. I always loved that HRE series. Congrats on the new car. You dont have to leave ClubLexus you know. :)

did you get aftermarket shocks? suspension?
if you did, which one did you use?

It's hard for anyone to filter anything through a coporate account now.
Sometime it makes it hard for company who has been doing this for awhile.
The salesperson must be devastated.

I do miss the space in the LS but the road feel is much better.

I have the Tanabe Springs, I believe that's the only spring option.

Other option will be the JIC coilovers

Goodbye Bugatti, very beautiful wheels you had.

The salesperson almost started to cry. I don't know what happens to the car I cancelled - whether the dealership is required to take it when it is finished. If so, they will have a hard time moving it since it had every possible option but 4-Matick and rear entertainment system.

What is really stupid about the corporate lease issue is that we have about 7 company cars on corporate leases - all of which have no personal guarantee. Lexus approved mine in about 30 minutes and we have leases with BMW, Infinity, Honda, VW, Ford and Nissan - all with no personal guarantee.

MB Financial is far and away the toughest to deal with. It was almost like they felt that they were doing me a favor in selling me a car and I should just appreciate it and do what they wanted.

I hope you really enjoy the E-class. I'm enjoying my LS 460 Sport

imherenow 01-08-10 06:23 PM

how much did u get the Eclass for?

The LS is big and nice. very comfortable... lack a little personality. but the E550 drives very well. can't complain... but do miss the size of the LS.

I would love to see pics of your new E550. My wife and I test drove one of the first ones at our dealership last summer. Loved it.

PM you....

OPSBD 01-12-10 05:12 PM

I traded my 2010 E550 for the LS460L after only one month. The Benz was in the shop 2 weeks with electrical problemssssssssss. They offered to give me a new car and 5K to boot. I wanted no part of it so they refunded me my money. Hope you have better luck then I did.

My new LS is so awesome its hard to put into words.
