How often do you change your oil? I usually change around every 7500 miles or so but I forgot and it looks like I will be doing it at 10K this time. I do pretty much all highway. Is 10K ok still?

 

IMHO, if it's synthetic, and I'm pretty sure it is, you can easily go 15k.

 

I also use synthetic oil & change mine every 5K miles as suggested by my dealer

 

10k is definitely ok if you are doing all freeway.. especially with synthetic.. well at least this is what i gathered from the internets.. and it never failed me..

 

The only reason I change mine at 5000 miles is to protect the warranty. Otherwise, I wouldn't change it any more often than 10,000 miles (even if I did only city driving).

5K - for Warranty. Not sure what they do or can do if you were to go an extra 5 K but for me I hate looking at the "I" sign in the dash telling me to service - reminds me we have just reached 10k and need to take it in.

 

Every 5000 miles with synthetic oil. You can take it to a Toyota dealership. They have the same oil 0W20...
