Maybe its the area (Wash DC region), but I get a lot of folks asking why I drive a ls460 in my mid-30's. "Too young for that kind of car." Such crap. Just got my '08 a couple of months ago, and love it.

Other car is an '00 MZ3, so I get the 2-seat rag top tight suspension sports car when I want it & smooth riding LS when I don't.

Why should you have to be old to enjoy something? Find what you like. If you can afford it, enjoy it.

Man, I don't think 28 is too young to be driving a LS 460...It's a sign of success or achievement in my opinion, and to be honest if I could afford the LS 460, I would definitely get it! I'm 34, lol...

I was 32 when I got my first, a 94 LS400. Traded out of LandCruiser. Been through the 400's, 430's and right now 2007 ls460. Also have a '03 SC 430. Reliability and ride, tech beat BMW hands down. Mercedes overengineering in the old days (last I had was a 560 SEL, 1986) will make you crazy when you try to fix a fault, and don't even talk about getting Chrysler involved with what was a fine machine. Just shows good judgement, and happy to have you in the family!

I'm 25 and I always get strange looks (normally customers) when I pull into the lexus dealership. Never too young to do anything, because tomorrow is not promised.

I'd say who cares? Drive what you like, don't pay attention to what other people think. Just follow your wishes (if you can afford them) and enjoy! Opinions are belly buttons, everybody has one.

I bought my LS430 at 24 and my 460 at 29. Hard work pays off, enjoy the fruits of your labor. If the car was given to you then lucky you....enjoy it anyway ha.

Not too young... When i had the mercedes and people would say " you must be rich " i always said not at all its just a bill that anyone can have. If you were 18 and bought it the same applies... Its just a bill. But obviously its an awesome car too!

Its not an old persons car i dont think... Maybe it just takes age and savings for the majority to consider it as their daily.

God do I feel old...I was at the dealer the other day picking up my car and noticed I was the youngest person there by about 15 years....I'm 44!
If you can afford it, not a problem...When it comes to value for the dollar Lexus is hard to argue with.

Ask yourself this...How much do your friends of similar age spend on their cars. I’m sure when you look dollar for dollar, they are spending close to the same if they are modding a car.
When I was that age I was dumping truck loads of money into race cars. When I look back I wish I would have just bought a Ferrari.

Well... a lot of other 34yr olds here. when i turn 35, wanting to get a LS460. been looking at newport lexus and the mission viejo store, a lot of preowned inventory.

turning 35 means a family Trust distribution, but still wanna/ gotta think preowned. don't want to spend more than $45k . 2011 or newer.

Never too young but everyone has different tastes. I only have an LS because I needed a bigger car for two kids in car seats and having a factory TV in the back is nice. I personally prefer sports cars and if I didn't have kids I would have a nice sports car. Once my kids can fit in booster seats I will consider getting a GTR so at least I can haul them around in that thing.
