LS460 at Invoice?
Interested in pruchasing a new LS for my wife here in California. Can anyone confirm what is the best price for a new 460 out the door they got and what dealer?
Also how about a new 460L?
Wanted to get for our anniversery at the end of Jan...any help would be greatly appreciated!

I just checked about the $6K rebate. It is still until tomorrow. Any idea if it will go higher in the rebate like it did from Nov to Dec ($4k to $6k)
Also, if the $6k is still good, do you think an 460 can be had for $16k off MSRP?
How about the 460L since it commands a lot higher MSRP? Would the discount be higher?

I think it is a function of how many 08 LS is still in dealer inventory. In most case, when an older model year car was mostly gone, manufacturer normally take away the rebate and let the dealer sell the remaining car on their own.. So the guess is mainly how many 08 LS is still available now.
I did lease an 08 on 12/5 with 16K (75K MSRP with 59K cap) discount from Lexus of Sacramento in N. California.

Unless they have lots of 08's hidden somewhere I doubt they will need to extend the discount to move the rest of the 08's... I have seen 14K off 69K SWB cars - and 14 K off loaded L's - If you go after a fully loaded Exec car you may see a bit more off (percent wise) but in general 14 to 16K is the range on an 08 L or SWB. I was in the high 15's on my L.
Pull the trigger NOW if you can find color/options -
What kind of deals did you guys get from Newport and/or Tustin Lexus?
I'll be looking into a LS460L sometime within the next year, or I'll just wait for the new model LS to come out, what do you guys think?

Not aware of any good financing deals at the moment - high 5's- to low 6's from Lexus direct.
You can wait until March-April time frame to see how the recession is doing - The only auto maker that is doing worse than Toyota (30+ percent drop) is Chrysler.

But Toyota is also most agressive in cutting production. Those $6k rebate pretty much guarantee that Toyota sell those 08 LS with a loss. If they are successful in cutting production to match demand, those rebate will be gone pretty fast. Good luck for everyone that is still hunting for an LS.. I got mind in early Dec but I have another car (Infiniti G35) that will be out of lease in May 09. So I will be in the market again in a two to three months..

Guys, I bought my wifes car yesterday and it was the last one from that dealer! Got a great deal too- LS460L MSRP $79K - got it for 16K below msrp! My wife LOVES the car.
If it wasnt for this board, I wouldnt of got a great deal like this. Thanks everyone.
If you're looking, TODAY is the LAST DAY for the sale and inventory is almost non-existent for a 2008 in California.
There is one dealer with a Silver/Blk SWB msrp $69K, but only willing to drop $3.5k-$4k off inv. If anyone is interested, PM me and I can give you the dealer and salespersons name (great guy). I think this is the only 460 short in s. california! and at $3.5K-$4K, it is still a great deal!

"Top - pickup a 600H - you can be the first on this board with one of each! I had a super deal on a white on white at Stevens Creek but it sold "
heh heh, I would probably pick up a CTS or CTS-V if the killer deal for CTS is still around by then (about 13K below MSRP after you factor in all the red tag sales + rebate for soon-to-be expired lease holder + GM card) or CTS-V hitting invoice or below.. otherwise, wifey really like our 07 G35 (which come off lease in May) so may be picking up an 09 G35 with new engine and transmission combo..
