Default Lexus December to Remember

Just curious if anyone knows if this event is any good or just trolling for traffic?

they always have lower rates during summer event and december to remember. we just got the gs350 at a much better rate than it was before december to remember

the deal is usually on certain models. i know this year december to remember have is, rx, and gs350. i don't know about ls460, but worth asking

definitely not troll.....

My experience has been that the sweetener of the "December to Remember" Lexus events is better financing and leasing rates.

Well I bought my LS460 last month. When I called my salesman about December to Remember yesterday, he said the same better lease rates and lower interest financing. The interest rates were not attractive to me however, above 6%....

Our dealer hooked us up with december to remember discounts on the price of the vehicle, idk about interest rates yet though. This is pertaining to the LS460 btw.

for a 72k car (for example), 7k off means 65k. that sounds about right for socal competition

I am considering leasing an LS460. For the “December to remember” the dealer in my area says that the factory leases are being offered with interest rates in the high 5%s and slightly better residuals over last moth for all models. As for the major 3rd input into the lease formula, the cost of the car, that’s completely down to supply and demand and up to the local dealer. In this area, the long wheelbase ls460 are in short supply and thus the dealers just aren’t budging much off the sticker. I didn’t negotiate hard yet on a price for the short wheel base, but it seems obvious that there is room there for the dealer to move. I did not get the feeling that there was 7k worth of room though. This is good information though. Perhaps I’ll start with 8k off and see where it goes.

I just did a $2500 over invioce (~$7100 off MSRP) on a comfort plus SWB LS460 lease deal with a .0023 (5.52% apr) money factor and .53 residual on a 10k/36month.

in october the very top tear money factor was .0028 (6.48% apr) and you'd be lucky to get 2k off sticker.

sure:
4645 total up to pay for: 2564 prepaid sales tax, 1017 for the first months payment, 600 bank fee, 55 doc fee, 396 title and registration

Payments are 1017/month for 36 months with a purchase option of 39664.

If you do a lease , make sure you establish up front that you will only deal if they give you the “tear 1 plus” money factor. This is best rate possible offered by lexus credit and has no dealer padding.

That "bank fee" is so lame. It's just another $600 to add to their profit line. Ditto for security deposits. I mean, if you're not creditworthy, it's hardly going to make a bad loan into a good one.

yea, the bank fee way lame. but it's non negotiable. that's why I spent my energy on what is - sell price, and money factor.
