hahaha ^. I bet when they said it had bad cornering they had just gotten out of the s550, which has a suspension for a car that is meant to travel at autobahn speeds... Whats wrong with these people. They need to start comparing whats over here.. Who the hell is going to rip turns at 80mph with a 120K car, i sure as hell know I wouldnt.. Id drive that thing like it was my baby

Well, this is the argument I've had with most auto rags for the longest. If I got the LS600, it would be with the rear executive seating package and a friggin chauffeur. I'd be in the back and if the driver took corners that fast, he'd be fired.
Seriously. I used to make fun of Consumer Reports for their auto reviews, but as I got older and realized that not everyone wants to carve the 'Ring or drive like they're in NASCAR, they look like more realistic evaluations than the dedicated auto rags. I just bought an FJ Cruiser and no it does not have the quickest 0-60 times, 1/4 mile, nor can it carve up the slalom in its class, but does what it is supposed to do with aplomb, which is tow and go off-road with great on-road driving manners. They really have to test these vehicles for what they were meant for. For all the rags to just test cars on their performance figures is getting old and tired, which is why I don't subscribe to any of them anymore.
Not everyone wants to carve the 'Ring in their everyday car. I personally think trying to fly up a mountain road in any of these cars is ridiculous. These are ~5000lbs road dirigibles. If you can afford one of these cars, I'm sure you can afford a nice sports car to do the same. Yeah, yeah, I'm ranting...

I agree with everyone, that LS600h especialy LONG version is not for race track as they tested. Even I, as not very calm driver, force LS to its limited, neverd had anything like battery overheated or something..
And by the way, the Long version of hybrid LS doesn't have active stabilizer as the review talks about its rubishnes...

there you go. there is NO swb 600h here, ONLY lwb ls600hl. look at the options, APSSS is an option on the car. so it does come in the lwb, maybe just not in your country
