If the factory mistakenly put an English Park Assist in a 460 meant for the US, would the car park itself in the middle of the street?!

Nice vid, although I was a bit  at the juryrigged LS 400, at least they didn't destroy the interior like Top Gear did with the W140 S-Class. The LS 400 looked to be in good shape overall, nice.

But I of course liked the LS 460 part a lot better, and found the demonstration of Lane Keep to be pretty cool. It works fairly well...although a bit like a plate spinner, keeping it in slow drift between the lane markers. Pretty cool anyhow. And the car looks very nice.

The lane keep assist is a great idea (my Dad could definitely use it!).

Anybody notice the inside wind noise in that vid? My GS has the same problem. My F250 has less wind noise then Lexus. Makes me sad and besides the ugly wheels has kept me from buying the new LS

Why aren't some of those features in the cars in the U.S?

Just my "guess" as one possible reason - they are selling the LS over there for much more $$ with the strong British pound & Euro etc., & the weak US$, they are taking home more money per car sold there, so maybe they decide to withhold some features from the US models at least initially . . .
