Default Streaming music on a 2008 LS 460 with Mark Levinson

Is there a plug and play device that will allow streaming music from IPhone 8 to the Mark Levinson radio?

If you have AUX port in the glove box then you could connect a bluetooth adapter and that could stream music to ML audio.

The center armrest storage has both the AUX input and 12V power. You will need an AUX bluetooth adapter, 12V usb adapter, and usb cable for power. I have the Blackberry music gateway, some of the benefits of the Blackberry Music Gateway:
- Autopower on - so each time you turn on the car, the bluetooth adapter powers on automatically;
- Media only bluetooth - Blackberry Music Gateway only connects to my phone bluetooth for media. This allows the car bluetooth to connect with my phone for calls.

The title of the thread said 2008. 2008 did have bluetooth connection for calls but not for music.

When you say it powers on automatically, does it also pair to your phone? I have a $15 taotronics device, very small, but you have to manually pair the phone each time with a button on the device.

Correct. Everytime I turn on the car, it automatically pairs with the blackberry gateway. Link below:

I found a Blackberry Gateway on Amazon from a third party seller, one only marked at 49.99. However I found one from a company called Homespot, NFC enabled, no battery, and it powers up with the car like the Blackberry. It auto connects, comes with an assortment of cords and a cig lighter usb adapter. 22.99. Great reviews. I have ordered it, will post a link tomorrow. I hate my current bt adapter, which even though it is always plugged in, you have to power it up manually by holding down the button for several seconds. Awkward doing that each time as you have to open the console lid and reach in. Hoping this works as promised, and will just connect each time I get in the car and resume play. Not sure what the NFC tech will do, but I know my S7 has that.

I think NFC feature allows you to pair with just a tap from phone to device.

Also, if the 8 comes with the cable that plugs into the charging port with a mini jack on the other end, you can plug straight into the port inside the armrest. A question on the bluetooth unit. Does it display info on the screen, or is it just connecting the phone to the speakers?

No info on the screen, only the sound.

I suggest looking for an 3.5mm bluetooth receiver with Qualcomm AptX HD for quality sound if you connect with compatible devices with Qualcomm snapdragon 835. You can find them for less than 30$... If you guys value quality sound the standard Bluetooth codec won't cut it.
