Hey, so I think it's neat to see old Lexus commercials of the car you own. I know with my old SC, the only commercial I saw online was the one where a guy was waiting at a stoplight (but terrible quality). Hopefully this commercial will still be floating around 10 years from now

So I was recording Lost last night and the following new LS commercial came up... so why not... I cut it out and converted it to xvid for posterity. If I record any others, I'll post them.

Oh, and if this isn't acceptable, I can take down the commercial, just let me know. It was ripped at 720p OTA HDTV (woohoo for no recompression), 20 megs, and encoded in xvid. I tried to encode in h.264 but couldn't. It's unaltered with no watermarks. The original mpeg2 stream is about 63 megs.

AAAAAAWWWW MY GOD! I LOVE LEXUS!!!
THAT COMMERCIAL WAS AMAZING, I played it 7 times in less than 5 minutes. I even woke up my family to watch it. Now I'm going to class and when I come back, that's right I'll watch it again. Serioulsy if I had an exam right now I would ACE IT coz I'm in such a good mood.

By the way the guy in the LS reminds me of Tom Green; he looks like him and act like him... You know the way looks lost at first and how he leaves his hands hanging.
And the last guy with the black framed eye glasses (the one that says "If you held the rabbit ears in the right position") looks like a bald Tim Russel but 20 years older... Talks like him, same voice, same movements.

I'm going to leave my computer on and record a couple hours tonight. it appears the commercials are appearing on nbc.

is the audio out of sync for everyone? It's in sync when i play it back on my desktop and notebook.

 

I already recorded the champagne and 8-speed ads on DVD-R, but I'm not sure how to make them into clips for online. Maybe later...
