Real Time XM Traffic (It is free for the first 90 days of ownership through XM). Obviously there are not much traffic spots at that time of night, earlier in the day there were plenty of red lines marking traffic speeds going 30 mph or less.

What is also nice, the NAV voice will speak to you explaining exactly what road hazard you select on the map. The nav voice will prompt you exactly what you read, down to the highway/freeway number.

Touch the road hazard icon and you will get a detailed synopsis of the incident or sig-alert.

The beauty of XM Traffic is that your NAV will re-route your destination if there is an accident or slow traffic on the route that you will be traveling on. Pretty slick for those who are new or unfamiliar to an area.

Kudos to Lexus for finally using a light blue backlight isntead of the customary Toyota green or dull amber.

Very Nice

Thanks for the pics

First time I saw this in detail.

Not sure if I will be getting the Traffic beyond the 90 days. Will have to see how useful it is.

Do you have to apply for this, or does the dealer activite it immediately?

I would like a couple of days to learn the car, before I try to learn the Nav/Traffic features.

Thanks again

The XM Traffic is functional. But the 90 days is activated starting from the first day of operation/in service date.
