LS460/460L standard equipment differences
This information may have been posted before, but in comparing the standard equipment of an LS460 and an LS460L at the Lexus website, I note the following differences, in addtion to the extra length:
LS460: 19/27 mpg LS460L 18/27 mpg
LS460L adds (in red):
Wood- and leather-trimmed heated steering wheel.
Lexus voice-activated HDD Navigation System [5] with backup camera [6], Bluetooth® technology, XM® Satellite Radio [7] and real-time traffic capability
Climate-comfort front seats with heat/cool ****
Heated rear seats
Laminated side glass
Power rear sunshade
Power door closers
One-touch open/close power trunk
Lexus five-sensor tire pressure monitor system

It would appear that the most expensive LS460 you can build on the web site is $68,482. The most expensive LS460L you can build (not including the exec upgrade rear seat package) is $85,947.
At first it appeared that the $10K spread in base price was due to the LWB having more options included in the base price. However, comparing fully loaded models shows a difference of approximately $17K. Given that both cars have nav and ML audio when fully loaded, what do you really get for the extra $17K besides more rear leg room?

The 86K car has air suspension, pre-collision, advanced parking guidance, Lexus Link, aniline leather, better rear seats and maybe more. If you add up what I listed those come to about $8,000.
The Florida area goes all the way up to 94K with the executive package.

if you look at the website, you will see what you will get. Comparing most expensive available models is not accurate at all, because their equipment is different.

actual difference between 460 and 460L is 4k, if you compare exactly the same equipment.
And when you actually go to build cars, you have large equipment list under every package, so I am not sure how did you manage to miss it...
