07LS460's arrival date???
 

Does anyone know when Lexus will start taking orders for 07LS460's or when we can expect to see them in local dealer's showroom floors?

Sept to Oct 2006 it should be at dealerships, so taking orders I guess is anytime before that, so are you sayin' you will be the 1st customer?!?!? ;)

I don't know but I have an '09 on order and that's all I care about. :woohoo:

09 is not yet time for a facelift if the current LS430 is any indication.

LS430 was launched as a 2001 & facelifted 3 model years later at 2004. So I expect the 2007 LS460 should get a facelift for 2010 :)

Right now you can contact a local dealer and get on the "interest" list, which I was told would place me in line for the actual order list. I am on the interest list as of three days after the initial unveiling announcement. I am now number three on that list, so it looks like Lexus has a winner. If the sales manager was telling the truth, they took two pre-pre-orders before mine, so, if you want to get one of the beauties, better get on an interest list now, or you will either have a long wait, or be buying someone elses spot on eBay, similar to what happened with the SC 430!

One caveat to what I just posted, Lexus doesn't have the price list established yet. I predict if they pump up the price too much, I and others will walk away. One of the priorities I have had for this great line of cars is that it is still a bargain compared to other cars in this class. They want to sell this one for $85 or $90K, I will have to think hard and long and begin comparing to BMW 7 Series. If Lexus makes this a bargain, as the $65K is, IMHO, they will do well. I see a bump up to $70K or even $75K as another winner. It is wait and see time now.

i thought they said they want to have new designers more often? :)
