Does everything in this damn car have to be recalibrate. My trunk stopped locking. I replaced the entire locking mechanism. Used a volt meter to check that it's getting power. Theres no obvious wiring issues. It's still not locking at all. Is this 1 of those issues that require recalibration? It looks like a simple plug & play situation.

 

Do you mean it stopped opening? or closing? You didn't accidentally hit the valet switch in the glove compartment did you ?

edit: With the trunk open can you use a screwdriver to manually lock the assembly?

 

Does your trunk lower automatically when you press the close button/ if it does not close automatically slowly lower the trunk manually to the locking mechanism (DO NOT SLAM) the mechanism should reset itself

 

The trunk isn't automatic. It's manual.

I'm not getting power now. I did the screwdriver test trick & now I'm not getting anything. Is the fuse for the truck latch in the trunk compartment?

I didn't know there was a manual trunk on a 460, was it made in Kazakhstan ?

 

Back then automated trunk buttons where a option, not standard equipment
