What's up with the Lexus App
 

What's up with the Lexus App. Tried to open the app on my Iphone and it is telling me some new security protection issue and it needs a passcode/pin setting enabled to gain access to the site? How much harder is Lexus going to making using their App or Web site. This is not user friendly at all. Then I tried it on my Older ipad which has the app and was told you need ISO 17 or higher for the newest version of the App and I apparently tapped out at 16.7.1.

The first Lexus app had a simple 4 digit code to open the app. Then the new and improved App dropped the entry lock code. Now, Lexus App 3.0 has stepped outside the App itself and requires that the phone the app is installed in must have the phone entry security set up, face recognition and/or passcode. I have always had the phone lock on but was surprised by how many (and how old) folks do not have or want the phone lock. "I'll stop using the App!!!"

I totally agree with you and will just stop using the Lexus app on my iphone. I don't have a passcode nor do i want one on my Iphone. I have a Lexus account which I have a user ID and password for and if that wont work on my phone then I just won't use it. Thanks for the reply
