DFW help needed – P1365 code on 2013 LS460 before long trip
College student in Dallas here, getting absolutely burned by bad mechanics lately. I need to fix one last thing before a long drive north in a couple weeks — check engine light shows P1365 "C" Camshaft Position Actuator Circuit Open/Low/High Bank 2 on my 2013 LS460. A trusted mechanic said wiring looks fine and suspects the Bank 2 sensor needs replacing; worst case would be a wiring issue. No cruise or traction control due to the CEL — would love advice on trying the sensor first.
If anyone in the DFW area might be willing to help me out in person, I can drive to you. I’m out here alone for an internship and leaving soon, so any help would mean a lot!

I had a similar code. Mines was P1364 and P1362 which was on the driver side cam actuator. I replaced the driver side cam actuator (very expensive $$$ part) but the CEL was still on. I eventually took it in to lexus and they figure it was due to bad wiring harness by the connector. They fixed the wiring around $200.
It's best to get it checked out before throwing parts to it would be my best suggestion.
