Motor Mounts
Thanks for asking.
I have made my task more difficult & have decided to go for a 600h, but not an "L" version.
As a result, the difficulty in finding one near me south of Sydney has increased exponentially.
It is almost guaranteed that I will have to make another "long distance" purchase, with the attendant risk.
I am fortunate that my current and very rare 2004 Mitsubishi Magna AWD (Diamante in the USA), purchased long distance in Adelaide 10 years ago last month, is still going very well.
I am fortunate that the risk I took last time paid off handsomely.
The proposed upgrade is thus just a "feel good"/reward purchase, rather than being made out of necessity, so I'm not in a hurry.
But carsales.com is getting a regular workout.
In the meantime, I am trying to absorb as much information about 460's/600's/2UR's/hybrids as possible.
All of which are almost a new world for an enthusiastic former used car salesman such as myself, who started learning on cars that had points distributors, carburetors, hand packed wheel bearings, and no computers or "safety" gadgets.

I've been in the same boat. For the past 2 years have been looking country wide for a suitable rwd LS460, and I should be picking up my new to me LS in a couple days. I even travelled an hour away to check out an AWD LS460, but an inspection revealed it was going to be a money pit. Always get an expert to inspect it.
I decided to go with a car I'd previously passed over. It doesn't have a lot of the options I had in my previous LS, but after seeing it in person I had to have it. That's about all I can say about it right now, I wanna leave all the details for the upcoming thread ^___^

I look forward to finding out more about it.
It must feel good after a 2 year search.
My current Magna only took me 7 months to find.
It was a relief to finally get on the Boeing to get there.
