Default Loose Gas Pedal

I have a 2008 LS460 w a whopping 210k miles on it.. The gas pedal appears to be loose.. it works but........... it feels loose. On my old GS300 (also w high miles) I noticed the gas pedal connects via a steel cable to the engine. I adjusted this and it tightened the gas pedal right up? On this car I can't seem to find this cable under the hood... Anyone know where it is ????
THANKS

It has an electronic throttle body, that means no steel cable.

The loose feel could be where ithe pedal is attached (bolted on). I suppose the Potentiometer (the device the pedal turns to send a signal (like a volume control) could be loose as well). So, poke around the pedal area wiggling things for signs of looseness. Let us know how it turns out so we all learn from you.
