I recently had the fuel pressure sensor replaced on my 2007 LS460. I had posted about it here. Link is in the end of post. After Almost driving 50 miles check engine light came on with “Check VSC” warning. After plugging my obd here what it says. Anyone have any idea what’s goin on with it.?
Remove and reinstall fuel cap. If not tight or cross threaded, it can cause code. Inspect o-ring under cap if visible or just buy a new cap. If an owner tops off fuel tank after pump handle clicks off, it can wet and eventually kill the evaporator canister. These are simple/cheap efforts. Of course a car from '07 could just have other worn parts. This has nothing to do with VSC. You can also disconnect battery cable for 30 minutes, this does a reset. The light and codes may go away after a bit.
Tank was actually low so stopped and got some gas after the check engine light came on. I checked the code later when got home. I cleared the code for now. Let’s see if it comes up again.
