Default 2011 LS 460L Rear Head Rest

Hope all is well club. Not sure if this thread was previously made but I'm hoping one of you can assist. I recently re did the interior on my LS460L. I'm currently having some issues with the rear center head rest.
I know the front two seats you can adjust the headrest, is it possible to adjust the rear headrest?

Moreover, are you aware if Lexus provides a cover for the area behind the head rest?

Any assistance in this matter would be helpful guys.

the center rear headrest blocks my view.

you see how the headrest to the left is slightly raised while the right headrest is completely lowered. The middle blocks my view a bit

what did it look like and move before you had the work done? I suspect the recovering is the reason for it being lopsided as well as a cover missing on the rear side open area. I do believe that the center should fold back and lay flat.

I just removed mine because nobody uses it anyway. Not having It gives me better visibility.

There was a push button on the drivers side of the middle head rest, also should have a hard vinyl cover where all you see is metal.

Your upholsterer screwed up big time.

i found the button on the rear driver side head rest and was able to lower it. Where would the push button be for the rear middle headrest?

if its not there, im basically force to replace and get it reupholstered or just remove it correct?

The button is probably behind the new upholstery. You may be able to press it even though it's not visible. GERF said it's on the side, closest to driver side headrest. Why not go to see the upholsterer and ask him for the rear plate or to pay for a new/used one? If they are on YELP, you can let them know you will be leaving a review of their services based upon how they handle the multiple errors they made. Be polite but clear that you expect them to make things right.

This is in the owners brochure. Mine is a 2010 however, I suspect 2011 is the same. They may have covered your button.

Guys thanks alot. The button was indeed covered and was able to fold the head rest down. My upholsterer will take care of it free of charge. All I need to do now is obtain the vinyl cover and I am good to go. Thanks for the help guys really appreciate it.
