I saw a thread where the flywheel and/or clutch plate can be an issue on the CVT. Servicing the fluid is still a good idea and should cost under $200 at a shop. BTW Toyota knows how to do it and may be priced better than Lexus.

The closest dealership in my area is Longo Lexus and apparently they don’t wanna do any service of my car and they said because they found out my car has a used transmission replaced and hybrid battery replaced done from another shop they just simply rejected to do a check up. 😵‍💫 I’m trying to find someone has a connection to the service department probably they can take my car in ……..

Most Lexus service depts are prone to recommend replacing the trans. I've read it many times here. They want big money jobs that they know will succeed. I'l repeat myself one more time, Toyota or an indy Japanese shop will do the job.

I just uploaded a short video to showcase the problem. You can see when I accelerate the rev idle will go down and then when I leave the car cruising(when it’s charging) the rev idle will go up by around 500rpm some times more

I got no codes showing but the car still behaves like this. As you can see in the pic when the car was regenerate the rev idle will go up to somewhat 1600rpm.

This would normally happen when the battery is full, so the excess energy will be burned by MG1 revving the ICE. Here the battery is not full so I think in this case for some reason the battery is not able to receive all the energy so my first thought would be that the battery is hot. Please check the battery fan and the mesh.

Can you post a longer video, like 2 to 3 minute long?
Also, it would be great if you have Techstream or Dr. Prius so I can see the battery temperature while driving.

I got too busy on the other stuffs that I don’t have to take a deeper look into the car. But yes the problem still here. And I took it to the shop for them to do the complete scan but unfortunately no codes are showing. This is such a headache car to deal with T_T

I’m gonna try to take a longer video later. Finally have time to deal with the car. And other thing acting weird is I noticed if I full throttle from a dead stop, when it hits 50mph mark if my foot not let go the throttle the transmission will slip and the car won’t accelerate properly and it will jerk. As soon as I let go the throttle and let the transmission go into second stage and then I hit the throttle again the car will accelerate back to normal. I hope this is not something about the trans…..
