Default Transmission issues continuing

My 02 ls was previously leaking so much trans oil that it caused problems with the transmission. I had a shop rebuild the trans and while it’s no longer leaking the oil is still burning up. What is causing this problem? The shop offered a 1 yr warranty to fix any issues after the rebuild but I want to know what the exact issue or part might be.

Just swap in a junkyard trans. They are $300-500 and will work great, there is NO point in rebuilding a A650E since they nearly never break and if they do it's pointless to waste the time and money on a rebuild when there are 1000s of great junkyard units they are practically giving away.

If its still burning up then there is excessive heat and friction they possibly did not adjust a number of things correctly. Sounds like they tried to re use parts or cut corners and it did not fix your problem.

Possible torque converter if they did not replace it.

I looked at all the junkyards in my area ( Long Island Ny )but they don’t carry any ls430s in my area. Most transmissions sold online are only acquired after buying an engine. Would I need to spend another 2k to buy a trans?

They added parts to the existing transmission but the car is making these noises and it’s shifting a little weird. Update: after taking a relook at the oil i realized it’s red not blackish
